실내소음기준 (NC, Noise Criteria)

 

NC는 대화방해, 시끄러움 등 사람의 통상적인 생활을 방해하는 정도를 감안한 평가량으로 해당 소음이 생활에 얼마나 지장을 초래하는지를 나타낸다. 이 평가량은 생활방해 정도가 동일한 음압 레벨을 연결하여 작성된 NC 곡선도에서 1500Hz의 음압레벨로 나타낸 값이다. 측정된 소음의 NC값은 측정된 소음을 주파수 분석하여 모든 소음성분이 그 이하에 드는 NC 값을 그 소음의 NC 값으로 한다. 미국 공종냉동기술자협회(ASHRAE)에서는 아래와 같이 각 실별 용도에 따른 실내소음기준(Noise Criteria)을 권장하고 있다.
