1. 적용 범위

ISO 20816-3은 15kW 이상의 출력을 가지고 운전 속도가 120~30,000rpm에 해당하는 아래 기계 중 Site에서의 진동 기준치에 적용하며, RMS 단위로 평가한다.

•  40MW까지의 출력을 가지는 Steam Turbines and Generators
•  40MW을 초과하는 출력을 가지는 Steam Turbines and Generators 중, 운전속도가 1500 ~ 1800rpm, 3000 ~ 3600 rpm에 해당하는 기계
•  Rotary compressor
•  3MW 이하의 출력을 가지는 Industrial gas Turbine
•  Turbo fans
•  Flexible coupling으로 연결되는 Electrical motor
•  Rolls and mills
•  Conveyors
•  Variable speed couplings
•  Blowers or Fans

 

 

아래 해당하는 기계는 ISO 20816-3의 진동 기준에 적용하지 않고, 각각 명시된 다른 기준을 적용하여 평가한다.

•  40MW 이상의 출력을 가지는 Steam turbines and Generators 중, 1500 ~ 1800 rpm, 3000 ~ 3600 rpm에 해당하는 기계는 ISO 20816-2를 적용함.
•  3MW 이상의 Gasturbine은 ISO 20816-4를 적용함.
•  Hydraulic power generating and pumping plant에 적용되는 기계는 ISO 20816-5를 적용함.
•  왕복동 기계는 ISO 10816-6을 적용함.
•  모터와 Rigid coupling 또는 Direct shaft로 연결된 Rotordynamics Pump는 ISO 10816-7을 적용함.
•  왕복동 압축기는 ISO 20816-8을 적용함.
•  Screw compressor와 같은 Rotary positive displacement compressor
•  수중 펌프 모터
•  풍력 발전기는 ISO 10816-21을 적용함.  

 

 

 

 

2. 진동 측정 위치

ISO 20816-3에서 제시하는 진동 속도 평가는 Bearing Housing, Pedestal 등의 위치에서 측정된다.

3. 진동 기준

ISO 20816-3 규격은 10 Hz ~ 1000 Hz 주파수 범위에 대한 진동 속도/변위를 평가하고, 600 rpm 이하로 운전되는 기계의 경우, 2 Hz ~ 1,000 Hz 주파수 범위로 평가한다. ISO 20816-3에서 언급하는 Evaluation Zone은 아래와 같이 정의된다.

•  Zone A: The vibration of newly commissioned machines normally falls within this zone.
•  Zone B: Machines with vibration within this zone are normally considered acceptable for unrestricted long-term operation.
•  Zone C: Machines with vibration within this zone are normally considered unsatisfactory for long-term continuous operation. Generally, the machine may be operated for a limited period in this condition until a suitable opportunity arises for remedial action.
•  Zone D: Vibration values within this zone are normally considered to be of sufficient severity to cause damage to the machine.

* Group 1: Large machines with rated power above 300 kW; electrical machines with shaft height H ≥ 315 mm

 

 

[ISO 20816-3, 진동 기준 Group 2]

* Group 2: Medium-sized machines with a rated power above 15 kW up to and including 300 kW; electrical machines with shaft height 160 mm ≤ H < 315 mm
