Piping Design Vibration Criteria for Reciprocating Pump

API 688 2nd (Pulsation and Vibration Control for Positive Displacement Machinery Systems for Petroleum, Chemical, and Natural Gas Industry Services)에서는 API 674로 설계되는 왕복동 펌프(Reciprocating Pump)의 Pulsation Study 시 검토되는 배관 진동의 설계 기준치를 아래와 같이 제시하고 있다.

 

a)    A constant allowable vibration amplitude of 0.57 mm p-p for frequencies below 10 Hz,

b)    A constant allowable vibration velocity of 36 mm/s p-p for frequencies between 10 Hz and 200 Hz

한편, API 688 2nd에서 제시된 왕복동 펌프의 배관 진동 설계 기준치는 Field acceptance criteria로 사용하지 않는다.
