Guidelines for Vibrations in Reciprocating Compressor Systems, Small Bore Connection

 

EFRC 에서는 Reciprocating compressor 의 Suction & Discharge Pipe 에 적용되는 Small Bore Connection 개소에 대한 정의 및 진동 기준치를 제시하고 있다. 일반적으로 Vent, Drain, Instrument Connection 등에 적용되는 소구경 배관을 Small bore connection 이라고 하며, Main Pipe 의 크기에 따라 아래 그림과 같이 small bore connection(SBC)을 정의하고 있다.

평가되는 진동 기준치는 그 크기에 따라 아래 table 과 같이 Vibration Zone Grade A~D 로 분류되며, 측정되는 진동 단위에 따른 Vibration Criteria 도 함께 제시되어 있다.

A	≤A/B	Acceptable	Be considered acceptable for long-term operation
B	>A/B, ≤B/C
C	>B/C, ≤C/D	Marginal	To clarify if the compressor & pipe is suitable for long-term safe operation
D	>C/D	Unacceptable	Urgent correction or shutdown to be performed

아래 그림은 EFRC 에서 제시하고 있는 Small Bore Connection 에서의 진동 측정 위치를 나타내고 있으며, 각 위치에서 X, Y, Z 의 3가지 방향에서 모두 진동이 평가되어야 한다.
